Joseph Chaplik is a co-founder of the Arizona Freedom Caucus — a group that seeks to move the legislature towards far right extremism 

• Chaplik threatened to withhold funding from Arizona State University after wildly claiming “institutionalized racism and neo-segregation” had taken over the campus.
• Chaplik is a member of Maricopa County’s branch of Moms for Liberty, an extremist organization that opposes LGBTQ and racially inclusive school curriculum, and has advocated books bans.
